Take a river trip along the upper reaches of the river Alde from Snape Maltings

whilst you are staying with us here at white house lodges why not snape malting and hop aboard Tilly Too or Emily and head out through the narrows from the historic Snape Maltings Quay down towards Iken Cliff – The perfect day out.

The round trip of about 45 minutes gives you a chance to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a haven for wildlife and rich in history. For the keen birdwatcher we also run a shallower draft launch, Emily, which enables us to get out at lower states of the time when there are more wading birds around.

Please note that the river Alde is tidal so times of the trips will vary from day to day.

Tickets cost £16 for adults and £10 for children ( 14 years and under ).

All boats carry up to 12 passengers. Dogs are welcome on all trips.
